The
Smallholders
Forums
are very much community-driven -
without contibuting members, then
the Forums wouldn't be as
successful as they are. Business
Wise
All new members to the Forums are
very much welcome.
All contributions to the
Smallholders
Forums
are appreciated and we are always
open to suggestions and new ideas
on how we can improve the Forums
for the benefit of us all.
Apart from the 'usual' categories
covering livestock, green living,
organic gardening, etc, below is
a summary of what is also
available at the
Forums:
This
category is for all your business-related
queries. Perhaps you need a letterheading
template, or asking for other people's
opinions on a particularl broadband
service. Maybe you have a specific
'running a smallholding' query.
Calendar
You
have access to the forums calendar where
events are listed, eg smallholders shows,
etc. If you know of an even, then you are
able to add the event yourself as a
'public event'. You can also use the
calendar for personal reminders, by
selecting 'private'. Private entries will
always remain private, only viewable by
yourself, not other members of the
forums.
Chat
We
have recently added realtime Chat for
members of the Forums. You need to be
logged in to view and take part in Chat.
For non-members the Chat window isn't even
visible. It's handy when you see fellow
members are signed in - you can have an
instant Chat with them.
