A Massive £80-million straw burning renewable energy plant is planned for the region, which could power up to 65,000 homes.
Developers claim it could pump £6-million into North Lincolnshire's agricultural economy and create more than 80 jobs.
The futuristic plans, which would bring the first straw-powered biomass plant to North Lincolnshire, have been drawn up by Eco2 North Lincs Ltd. They are for an area of 5.26 hectares next to Glanford Brigg power station.
