ONE of the best cattlemen of his generation in Wales and a leading fund raiser for charitable causes has been elected president of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society for 2008.
Trebor Edwards of Pen y Bryniau, Bettws Gwerfyl Goch, near Corwen will hold the office when Conwy, Denbighshire, Wrexham and Flintshire are featured at the Royal Welsh Show.
Mr Edwards, who is aged 58, has successfully exhibited cattle at many of the UK’s leading shows including the Royal Welsh, where he won best heifer with Welsh Queen in 2003, and the Winter Fair where he won the supreme championship in 2000.
