With all the energy prices going up I was wondering which type of heating to buy. at the minute we are using coal fires, but with coal touching £10 a bag its getting to expensive. so we decided to go for some central heating. Again , thinking about the price I thought about electric heating, useing economy 10 ,along with a domestic wind turbine to help with costs. Has anyone had electric central heating installed if so what difference did it mak on your electic usage.

Can you compare the price of Gas per KWh to Electricity per KWh that may give you an idea on cost comparison. ?

my wife feels the cold and she's 40 this year. To be honest last year we had the woodburner and we hardly ever got a cold, usually my lot have the CH blaring away its like a hot house and they are full of colds
