countrybumpkin asked me to put up a Recipe Section, so I thought I would start things off in the Starters Section with this dead easy soup which I found on the net a few years ago - so thanks go to whoever it was! Here goes ...
BELLY-WARMER SOUP
Ingredients:
1/4 chicken
2 pints of water or vegetable stock
1 big chopped/sliced onion
1 big sliced leek
1/2 a cup of short-grain rice
Method:
- Place the chicken in the stock/water and boil for about an hour, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove the chicken and add the rice, onion and leek and boil for another 15 mins.
- You can chop the chicken and add it to the soup if desired.
- Enjoy!

| Hi Anita - I do have some old recipes that I need to dig out, so will do this in the next day or so and add them to the Forums. I'm also looking for new recipes, so I hope you get more postings soon. Thanks for including this section up for me!
