We really miss a real fire and having 'regular' fuel bills again is scary
Get me outta here!

Hi YA
We to have a wood burner and my other half has developed an obsession for collecting any trees that have blown down in the wind or any that have been cut down and just left. So far our heating and hot water has only cost us our time and energy. We can not believe the way people just throw good fire wood away.
I have been busy planting seeds too just hope they all come up. It snowed hard here and we made an easter snow bunny , we should have repaired some coups but hey we all need a break

Been trying to get into the garden to start preparing the ground, managed to fork over some but along comes the snow to stop the job again. Put some seeds in trays in the greenhouse, and started removing old metal window frames in the out building we are goin to turn into commercial kitchens and storage. Still a bit too wild though to go mad outside, prefer to sit by our open fire with a cup of tea and a good computer. Problem then is I feel guilty for not doing all those jobs on my list

More snow here today but I had to make up for having a bit of fun yesterday making snow bunnies . So repaired the turkey shed and put together a broody coup for another hen thats gone broody, I am hoping to put some turkey eggs under her if she settles into her new home, fingers crossed, free incubation is always good. Also put together some hot boxes for the chicks that are comming off heat. They are just boxes lined with straw bottom sides and the roof they keep them snuggley warm at night again free heat. They seem to work well with my chicks. Sowed some more seeds in the greenhouse gave up trying to dig its too wet should have done the veg beds last month. Never mind . Byeeeee
