That was a quick reply!

Hiya Richyrich - haven't got a smallholding yet and our garden is too small to grow anything really - but am going to try a spot of container growing in the spring.

Welcome finnykin

I redesigned the Villageways web site earlier today - any comments appreciated - good or bad.

Morning! nice forums. Still haven't done my Christmas shopping! I'd best get myself off to the shops soon - everyone else all done and dusted?

Someone popped into the Chatroom at 8.00 this evening, so I was really pleased about that.... I'll be logging in at the same tomorrow if anyone cares to join me.

Take care all

It's good to see the Forums busier. Love the Give 'n' Take idea - as the saying goes, it might be rubbish to you, but to someone else, it's treasure. When I think over the years of the stuff I've thrown out - shameful really. Hope it takes off - although these things usually need a little time.

Hi all!

Thanks for the info on the nuisance/marketing calls. I'm sure a lot of people will be visiting the site and registering their phone numbers.

Merry Xmas everyone! I'm so tired! It must be all the festive eating I've been doing.

Hi everyone . We are in Cumbria and have a couple of acres of land . from it we breed our own pigs and have chickens for eggs and meat. we also produce a range of chutneys from vegetables grown on our land and supplied from local farms. we are in the middle of developing the business and turning one of our out buildings into a kitchen come butchery. we make our own bacon, hams, burgers, etc from the pigs and sell the surplus eggs from the chickens. We also have a few table chickens for our own consumption. I also have a full time job which I hope to leave by the end of 2008.
