well what a waste of a season, rain rain and more rain ground is flooded, pigs have learnt how to swim, slugs galore eating everything, no honey as the bees have vanished, grass is 1ft high , potatoes have started to rot in the ground, corn has been snapped in the wind, etc etc etc, what will we do? ....I know we'll start all over again next year

Sounds a bit like not very sunny Leicester, I've yet to check on the last of the spuds and I bet the slugs are munching as I type on my cabbages etc

Hate it when it's dark so early and now with all the weather it's gonna be a killer to dig the plot,, unless its dry for the next two weeks.
Just lit the woodburner for the 1st time and filled the room with smoke after I re-blacked it
