Oh nightmare! Can you get replacements easily?
We had 60kmh winds here a couple of days ago, and they were coming from the west which is really rare here. I found myself climbing a ladder to get on the roof to check the solar panel wasn't about to fly off, which was an unpleasant experience.
All calmed down now. 20ºC for the last few days, but frost every night. I don't think my orto or vegetable patch knows whether to laugh or cry.

youre right richyrich wind and rain again today mind you it could be worse we could have tornados like they had in America yesterday . I just dont know why they keep building their houses from wood though. I know its cheaper and quicker but they just keep blowing down .Last edited on 7 February 2008 08:49 am by piggybreeder

we have had a lovely spell of sunshine then hard frost ( just like the old days).
All the hens are laying well and some are looking for places to hide their eggs getting ready for brooding (this should happen around april) .
So far a dry february sunny and bright! here in sunny norfolk.
