hello, what a great site! I have always wanted to run a smallholding but alas do not have the start up capital required. I live in south Croydon and have been told that i have to wait 3 years just to get an allotment.
I was wondering if anyone has and knowledge of Community Smallholdings, something that has recently been on TV. I would love to get involved with one or even campaign for one. So i would really appreciate any information or advice.

Hi Emma - welcome to the Forums! Glad you like them
It's hard to find anything on the net about community smallholdings. I would suggest contacting your local Smallholding Society, but I can't find one of those either!
Let's hope someone else out there has some info for you.
